Software delivery lead for Type 26 Platform Management System. I co-ordinate between high-value software suppliers, and lead a team to integrate the supplied software into our end-product. I report on scheduling and finances for project software deliveries.
In the early stages of the project, I was also responsible for creating the software architecture, and creating specifications for major software components to pass on to suppliers and internal developers, while liaising with customer and end-user representatives to ensure requirements were met.
Development of Platform Management System for QEC Aircraft Carrier. Led development and integration of interfaces with external systems, following through system development into integration trials.
Led user interface design for application software development. Co-ordinated between software developers, customers and end-users to create modern graphical interfaces for the control of complex platform systems.
